Armin Caduff

Swiss bass vocalist, arranger, conductor and orchestra leader from Danis, Graubünden. Born in 1948, he spent his education at conservatories in Zurich, Salzburg and Italy. He met Christoph Demarmels at the Zurich conservatory, which was the initiation of an artistic cooperation of the both artists. In 1980, he founded the ensemble La Cumpignia Rossini, which he runs together with his wife Lisabet Caduff until today. The couples' children Flurin Caduff, Giuana Caduff and Maria Catrina Caduff are as well members of the ensemble and also started their education and career as opera vocalists. Caduff integrates the Rhaeto-Romanic language in the ensemble's arrangements, he is also responsible as the editor of the ensemble's music and manages the activities of the choir.
