Very prolific Jamaican Rocksteady & Early Reggae backing band/studio band formed in 1967. Members would also be members of Lee Perry's The Upsetters. their name could vary depending on the studio where they were recording the Randy's All Stars for Randy's prods the The Soul Rhythms for Sonia Pottinger prods the Matador All Stars for Lloyd Daley prods the The Bunny Lee Allstars for Bunny Lee prods the Joe Gibbs Allstars for Joe Gibbs prods ... and became The Upsetters ! The group start with Maurice Roberts on bass, "seanie" on drum & "Welby Stewart" on guitare they become more famous from 1969 with the arrival of Aston "Family Man" Barrett (Bass) Carlton "Carlie" Barrett (Drums) Alva "Reggie" Lewis (Rhythm Guitar) Lloyd Charmers (Organ, Piano, Percussion & Vocals) sometimes augmented by Ronnie "Bop" Williams aka Ranford "Rannie Bop" Williams on Lead Guitar.
