Keith Roberts (6)

Bluegrass guitarist and banjo player, Keith Roberts, was born in Cleveland, Ohio. Roberts began playing guitar when he was 8 years old and was performing in rock bands in his early teens.  He switched to acoustic music in 1970 and played in various duos and trios in upstate NY.  After graduating from college and moving to his grandparents' farm in 1974 (located in Garrett County, Maryland USA) he played solo for several years until teaming up with Rob Smith (27) in 1977 to form Smith And Roberts.
