Resh is an Israeli rock band that was active between 1991 and 2000 and released three albums. The band was known, among other things, for its loud performances, in keeping with its name, for avoiding interviews and sales promotion, and for "strange" and childish behavior when journalists nevertheless tried to interview it. The band, intentionally or not, kept a distance from the mainstream - even when it managed to get a few hits on the radio, it used to dismiss it, continued to "do its own thing" and didn't try to replicate the success. Despite consistently receiving good reviews, Raash never achieved much commercial success and eventually disbanded.
