Swedish composer, church musician and organist, born November 29, 1899 in Solna, died February 16, 1987 in Västerås. He graduated with a higher organ degree in 1926, a degree in music teaching in 1927 and a degree in church singing at the Royal Academy of Music in 1931. He was an organist in Sundsvall's church in 1928–1966. He was conductor of the Härnösand diocese's church singing association 1928–1960, of the Sundsvall Orchestra Association 1931–1966, principal conductor at national church singing festivals in Östersund 1947 and in Sundsvall 1959. 1945–1966. He composed Passacaglia for organ (1927), Norrländsk suite for orchestra (1929) and several cantatas, choral works, vocals, odes and film music. He was awarded the board of merit of the Swedish National Association of Orchestral Associations and the Swedish Church Singing Association, as well as a cultural scholarship from the City of Sundsvall and Västernorrland County Council.
