Sonny Ledet

Radio DJ and program director, recording engineer, songwriter, guitarist, bassist, and trumpeter from Gretna, Louisiana. He worked in Nashville, Tennessee, before moving back to Louisiana. He co-wrote "Hatchet Annie", and his songs have been recorded by various artists, including Lynn Anderson, Ferlin Husky, and Bobby G. Rice. He has toured and recorded with his own bands, and with artists such as Leon Ashley, Merle Kilgore, and Margie Singleton. He co-owned The Studio Of Lafayette with Rick Lagneaux, and Sonny Ledet Sound Studios in Abbeville.
