He graduated the Conservatory of Bucharest and took private lessons in counterpoint and composition with Leon Klepper and Alfred Mendelsohn. 1974 - graduated the Law Faculty of Bucharest. Was deputy editor of the pop music section at Societatea Română de Radiodifuziune.
