Le Cardan

Montreal (Québec, Canada) rock, blues and psychedelic band (1967-1970). They first met at a jam session in Mont-Laurier (1965?). They decided to try the adventure and it was as amateurs and under the fanciful name of the "Kaleidoscope" that they made themselves known to the public by playing in small dance halls in the suburbs, then at the "Pavillon de la Jeunesse" at Expo 67. They perform the great hits of the Beatles and Jimmy Hendrix. They performed in January 1968 with a dozen other international groups in a large youth gala at the vast municipal stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Cardan (Gimbal): Technical word designating a universal joint.
