An avid performer from a young age, Michelle C. Mesch has been performing for most of her life. She graduated college as a Music Business Major at the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY with a concentration in Classical Voice. She has had experience in performing all musical styles including classical, musical theatre, and jazz, as well as extensive dance experience and theatrical training. In her high school years she attended the Long Island High School for the Arts (formerly known as the BOCES Cultural Arts Center) as a Dance Major, and took many electives in the Musical Theatre Department. The 27-year-old dramatic mezzo-soprano has a wide variety of repertoire studied in English, Italian, Latin, Spanish, German, and French. She has attended many competitions including the NATS competition (NYC and Finger Lakes Divisions) and the AMTL Scholarship Competition (Upper Division Voice) in which she won 2nd Place. She has a great deal of select ensemble experience including an ensemble trip to Austria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic in May 2013 and an all female a cappella group known as the "A Sharp Arrangement," and also does freelance work with vocal samples for electronic recordings. She has previously worked with vocal instructors such as Rosemarie Crouse (Voice Prof. ACSM, Queens College, CUNY), Dr. Kathleen Weber (Voice Prof. Nassau Community College, SUNY), and she is currently under the instruction of Dr. Deborah Massell (Voice Prof. Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam). She worked at the NAMM convention in Anaheim, CA in January 2015 with Samson Technologies. Currently she is a working performer in many facets such as classical voice and competitive pole sport, and she also occasionally teaches at a private music school on Long Island. Michelle C.
