Об исполнителе:
Swedish folk rock band, formed 1990 in Sundsvall with members from Medelpad, Hälsingland and Jämtland. The band has played at rock events such as the Hultsfred Festival and been on top charts in both the US and France. In 1996, they received a Grammy for the album God's Fiddlers. In 1997, they performed at the Melodifestivalen with "En gång ska han gråta", written by Mats Wester and Py Bäckman. It finished in eighth place. After a few years touring in the wake of the album Hildegard von Bingen (2001), the band started another album, but this was never completed as the band members focused on studies, work and family formation. After a break of a few years, the band started playing sporadically and after a successful concert at Festival Medieval in Germany in 2013, they began to seriously plan a new album. In October 2015, the single Över Gränsen was released, featuring the Sami rapper and activist Maxida Märak. In March 2016, the second single Open Sea was released. Here, singer Emma Härdelin sings a duet with rock and punk legend Joakim Thåström. In April of the same year, the album 6 was released, where the band took their fusion of electronica, rock and folk music one step further. Unlike previous records, the album contains only newly written lyrics. The lyrics to the songs Ingen och Labyrint are written by Annika Norlin.
