"Soma" was a short lived project by the German artist Thomas W. Kuhn in 1991/1992. Beside his project "Das Institut", it contained the less experimental side of his music. He used the label "InArtiVity" for his releases, which were ditributed by S-META TAPES, Mönchengladbach, Germany. Before "Soma" he used the alias "Artificial Gravity" for his releases.
