Sir Galahad

Austrian authoress born in Vienna March 18th, 1874 and died February 20th 1948 in Geneva. In America she was known as 'Helen Diner'. Her most popular work was 'Mothers and Amazons (1930)' about Matriarchy. As a member of the European intellectual group the 'Arthurians' she adopted the name 'Sir Galahad' and was also known by this pseudonym in Europe. Initially she published by her former pseudonym 'Ahasvera'. She wrote journalistic traveling stories, articles for magazines, historic cultural books regarding the situation of women from a feminist perspective and translated English writers.
