Sandra Edema

Sandra Edema was only twelve when she sang my song "Oh My Lover" in Ceylon ( Sri Lanka ). It became a hit in South Asia in the late fifties. She later went on to London where we teamed up again. We recorded several of my songs together. Our backing group was called "Pax Eternal". Sandra was also appearing in various venues in the West End of London with her partner Fortune Ohlmus. My songs were published at the time by Mr Joe Roncoroni of Marquis Music and it was he who recorded us as an independent Record Producer. The first record we made was "Feel Like A Clown"/ "Rainbow Land" as Ranee & Raj which came out on the Fontana label. We appeared as guest artistes on "Top Of The Pops" in the UK and "Beat Club" in Germany. The record was released all over Europe and the States but "Rainbow Land" was the 'A' side in the States. This is now a collectors item.
