Alias for the Czech producer, composer, sound engineer (Soundevice Studio) and musician (vocals, violin). Member of kNot Photogenic, Palm Beat. Musician whose musical style is hard to pinpoint but lets just say that it takes in the flavours of jazz, guitar rock and electronic music. Boris comes from the Czech republic and has a classical education in the violin and has played as a musician in Norway, UK, Germany and Italy. Combine all this with a childhood musical diet of the Jazz classics and it's easy to recognize his musical inspiration and discipline. His debut was on London based label Tracktion with project called Palm Beat.Then he's signed to Red Salamanda records as an artist and he had his release Good Stuff EP '. The EP was received well from all corners of this world. Most notably were the two airings on Gilles Peterson's Worldwide BBC of the track called 'First Joy '. His other track was also released in Japan with label NURO.Another project with UK musicians was called kNot Photogenic. Localy in Czech republic he was nominated for Best sound Czech Grammy in 2006 year for album Dreamer of Czech band Sunshine.He also produced song named Atentat for band Krystof, which won Czech Grammy as The song of the year in 2008.This song awas also number 1 -the most played radio hit in year 2008 over Czech radios.The same year the band Krystof was prized by Czech Grammy as The band of the year. Another album from other interpret Ivan Hlas was the same year nominated in the category Folk and Country. Another album from Czech band Charlie Stright where Carloff was working on as well (not as producer but engineer and part of mixing) was prized by 3 Czech Grammies in for year 2009. 3albums which he was produced for band Krystof and czech EMI were the best selling stuff over Czech republic and was honored as Platinum or Gold Albums.
