Splatter is the sax & drums free jazz duo of Mats Gustafsson and Paal Nilssen-Love, the name is only used for production credits, the duo's first reported meeting was at Fylkingen, Stockholm, 16th Oct 1998, part of the New Scandinavian Improvised Unit concert, a short recording of that performance was later released as a extra 7" titled "...And The Way It Moves Your Splatter" on the reissue of their record "I Love It When You Snore", originally issued in 2002, the duo also released "1324719" (2007), a live recording of a performance given at Blå, Oslo during the 2004 Smalltown Supersound's 10 Year Jubilee Festival, in 2013 they released "4812809" (a sax and congas duet) and "" both recorded Feb 14th 2013 at Garnison7, Vienna.
