The Thriller

“The Thriller” were formed in 2007 performing live in various clubs in Athens. At the same time they also made a live recording. However, towards the end of 2008 the band underwent changes which led to Christos taking over the double bass in the summer of 2009 also doing the backing vocals. Aggelos also joined in behind the drum kit while the role of guitarist and vocalist was maintained by Kostas who also is the basic composer of the songs. The entry of the Christos and Kostas gave a new fresh approach to the Thriller who started giving gigs again in clubs and festivals. Their influences derive from a mixture of not-so-classic rockabilly, with 80’s psychobilly & surf music!
