JJ Koczan

JJ Koczan (alias H.P. Taskmaster), born 1981 in Parsippany, New Jersey, is an American vocalist, photographer, journalist and author. He is the founder and editor of The Obelisk webzine and has authored the short story and poetry book "Electroprofen" (published April 2016 through War Crime Recordings). Prior to founding The Obelisk in 2009, Koczan was a writer and editor at The Aquarian and Metal Maniacs and had a radio show on WSOU. He was also the vocalist in several bands including Maegashira, Kemmler Standard, Ogima, Mynok, Moth Eater. Koczan formerly operated the record label The Maple Forum in the early 2010s.
