Satan! is a doom / sludge band from Singapore. How does one explain the music he or she is listening to without short-changing the efforts made in writing those songs? A similar situation is presented when one listens to SATAN!. Strains of musical DNA reminiscent of Cavity, Jesu and Earth could be picked up, but as with most good bands, these influences are usually laced with characters and experiences, traits that often form a unique path. And that's what listening to SATAN! is. It's a weighted journey guided by a trio that have pushed musical boundaries via their other conduits (Castles, Drug Plant Patient, Wormrot, I Am David Sparkle, etc). We can expect something more than just a lacing of influences. We are in for a ride.
