Mr. Switch

British DJ. Based in Birmingham, UK, his biggest achievement to date was becoming the first DJ ever to perform on the BBC Proms, as soloist for Gabriel Prokofiev's "Concerto For Turntables & Orchestra" (2011), alongside the National Youth Orchestra. He also has collaborated with companies such as Denon DJ, becoming the face of their 3900 digital turntable and gaining a YouTube viral with "JFB" for their Fatboy Slim turntable dubstep remix. He is also a three times World DJ Champion in the DMC Battle For World Supremacy (2008-2010). In his previous guise of DJ Switch, he accumulated numerous festival appearances, most notably providing closing sets for Bestival, Shambala, and Glastonbury, as well as a vast number of guest mixes for radio, including BBC 1xtra, BBC Radio 1, BBC Asian Network, and Kiss FM, and TV appearances including for the BBC (Breakfast and children's programme, Blue Peter). His versatility as a DJ means he covers numerous genres in his live sets, but he is well known for his 'electro swing' sets.
