Jack Bland

American jazz banjoist and bandleader. Played with : "Mound City Blue Blowers" (co-founded with Red McKenzie), Eddie Lang, Billy Banks, Pee Wee Russell, Red Allen, "Rhythmmakers", Vic Dickenson, Ike Quebec and others. Is also credited on the guitar. In the 1950s retired from musical scene. Born : May 08, 1899 in Sedalia, Missouri. Died : October, 1968 in Van Nuys (Los Angeles), California.
