Swedish musician (saxophonist), lyricist, record label director and producer, born May 20, 1938 in Stockholm, died May 19, 1994 in Sollentuna. He started his own orchestra in 1953 where he was a guitarist. In 1954, he invested in playing the baritone saxophone and collaborated with, among others, Arne Lamrin, Lulle Ellboj, Fred Hylter and Kjell Fernström, but also had his own quartets. With Sven Olov Bagge and the Lapland Brass he played alto saxophone until 1968. From the age of 22, he wrote Swedish texts for melodies with titles such as Det är så lätt att leva livet, which spent 17 weeks on the Svensktoppen with Gunnar Wiklund, Vi ska gå hand i hand, Snart så kommer åter ljusa tider, also with Gunnar Wiklund, and Snart blir det sommar igen. His song Man ska leva för varandra became a big seller for Trio Me' Bumba. In 1983 he became a SKAP scholarship holder.
