Stefan Schmidt (15)

Swiss born pianist, born in 1965 near Lake Constance and studied piano in German Frankfurt/Main. He started his career as solo pianist and had several musical projects. After he got seriously ill during a concert he stopped all musical activities. After 10 years pausing as active musician, he, meanwhile living in Berlin, joined the Kammerchor Charlottenburg. He is the half of the duo Delgado 6 Schmidt and became musical leader of the Der Strassenchor, a Berlin-based social project with a choir of socially disadvantaged people, initiated by German TV-station ZDF neo.
