Rockin' Belly Bende

Belly is a punk from the Dutch squatters' movement in the 1980s in Amsterdam. A band was formed around this person, the Rockin' Belly Bende wth lead singer Frans de Wit. Frans asks his friends René Windig and Eddie de Jong in 1984 to make a comic for the Dutch squatters magazine 'Bluf' resulting in the comic Rockin 'Belly, starring Frans himself. René Windig also becomes a bandmember and they ~ in Holland also known as Windig and de Jong ~ made posters and coverart for the band.
