Christopher Timothy is a Welsh actor and the son of British BBC radio announcer, Andrew Timothy. He is best known for playing James Herriot in the long-running BBC series All Creatures Great and Small. He also played series regulars Ted Murray in the soap opera EastEnders and Dr. Brendan "Mac" McGuire in the serial drama Doctors. Born: 14th October 1940 in Bala, Merionethshire, Wales, UK.
