Anna Assandri

Italian operatic soprano and mezzo-soprano. Appeared - mainly in smaller parts- throughout Italy and in Ireland in the late 1960s. (Where , interestingly, on the 1969 season brochure she is billed as Adriana Assandri, the Nabucco playbill though mentions her usual name Anna. Also billed as Adriana during a run of Lucia di Lammermoor at the Terme di Caracalla in the 1980s)
