Nicky Crane

Close friend of Ian Stuart Donaldson, Crane worked as security for Skrewdriver as well as providing some of their LP art. Crane was a member of the neo-nazi British Movement but first came to public prominence after he appeared on the cover of the LP . At the time of release Crane was in prison for a racially motivated attack. Garry Bushell, who chose the photo, was unware at the time of Crane's link to the far-right. Crane continued to be closely involved in far right causes such as Rock Against Communism and Blood And Honour. Many on the far-right, including Ian Stuart, shunned him after Crane announced that he was gay. Crane died a an AIDS related illness in 1993.
