Influenced by Dutch house music, in 1998 he released his first title, Keep Da Clubstyle, self-produced, under the name of DJ Valium (teaming up with Ole Wierk also German DJ-producer). This title ranks at the top of the German charts. Two months later, he released the maxi R.U.F.F.
