Mexican band formed 1958 in Mérida, Yucatan. The band was one of the most successful bands playing various latin styles, recording over 30 LPs before they disbanded in 1979. Members: Angel Pavia (vocals and saxophone), Ruy Medina (saxophones), Manuel López (guitar), Gener López (bass), Sigfrido López (percussion and vocals), José Solis (keyboards, piano, organ), Fernando Calderon (drums)
