Jeseter

Czech neo-progressive rock enthusiasts Jeseter come from Ostrava and were found in 2005. Led by guitarist Jan Gajdica and keyboardist Robert Hejduk (replacing David Straka who stayed with the band for a while), originally playing covers of their favorite band Yes. At the time of their debut - Slavnost Pro Jednoho! (2007) - though, they had already started writing compositions based on their own ideas. In 2009 drummer Viktor Doricak left the band and he was replaced by Lukas Krejci.Three years later Jeseter returned with a more ambitious album, entitled Promena and highlighted by the impressive 20-min. title track. This is definitely a band to keep an eye on, especially if neo- / symphonic progressive rock is among your major preferences.
