Swedish opera singer, dramatic soprano and mezzo-soprano and director, born July 31, 1961 in Stockholm. She was educated at the Theater and Opera Academy in Gothenburg 1983-86. She began her career as a mezzo-soprano and made her debut as the Third Lady in Mozart's Magic Flute in 1985, during her internship at the Deutsche Staatsoper in Berlin. After completing her education, she returned to Berlin as an ensemble member. In 1998, she made her debut in the dramatic soprano union, as Brünhilde in "Valkyrian" by Richard Wagner directed by Wilhelm Carlsson at the Wermland Opera. This role performance gave her Svenska Dagbladet's opera award in 1999 and was followed by almost all major roles in the highly dramatic soprano union such as Elektra, Isolde, Ariadne, the others Brünnhilde, Leonore / Fidelio, Renata (Burning Angel / Prokofiev) at opera houses in Sweden, the rest of Europe and in Canada.
