Los Angeles post-punk vocalist and songwriter, Louise Bialik, is currently collaborating with Dark Chemistry and Simon House (Bowie, Hawkwind, High Tide), Jack Brewer/The Obstacles, Comitatus (Bardacid, Krautiopharm, produced by Kramer) and The Loulees (formerly of Omenopus). An archive of Bialik's 4-tracks and various groups from 1985 to present, mixed by Echo Wanderer, is to be released on Transparency under the moniker, Hermione Gart. Bialik frequently read poetry at the Anti-Club, opening for the Minutemen and Saccharine Trust. Thereafter, she joined Haircuts That Kill, guested in Savage Republic, Saccharine Trust, and formed Sandbox with Jack Brewer. While fronting Sandbox, Bialik lead 17 Pygmies, signed onto Island Records, and participated in various art performance groups such as Theatre Carnivale, Kraig Grady's Anaphoria, EZTV, The Wyrd, and Theoretical Society. Bialik is a Creative Writing alum of UCLA, having worked alongside Stephen Yenser, JD McClatchy, Peter Sellars, and Javanese court gamelan artist, Miroto. She has also worked for renown jazz artist, Henry Butler and has recorded with Mike Watt, Alan Davey, Kjhel Johansen, Spirits Burning, Brad Laner, Biff Sanders, Rosz Mantra, Matt Sherwood, Your Reiki Master Is A Vermona Organ and Tony Lovett. Bialik is scheduled to record with UK Space Rock artists, Modual Logic and Shadowlight.
