Banjo virtuoso. Born September 2, 1963, in Hobbs, New Mexico. Died March 22, 2020 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma of throat cancer. Jimmy's rise to stardom began shortly after winning the World Bluegrass Banjo Championship at age ten and getting the attention of country music legend and entertainer Roy Clark. He has appeared on many TV and variety shows, including the Mike Douglas Show, the Merv Griffin Show, the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, Hee Haw, several Grand Ole Opry specials and countless public and corporate venues. He is known to have performed in every U.S. state (Including Hawaii) and internationally in England, Russia and Canada. Jimmy played several instruments proficiently, and also has made his stamp as a vocalist. He has produced four record albums in addition to his own music compositions.
