Danny Koker

American Gospel baritone singer, musician, composer, conductor and arranger. Born 17 December 1933 in Detroit, Michigan. Died 17 February 2008 (aged 74). Father of Danny Koker (2). In 1963, Koker, Glen Payne, and Bobby Clark formed the Cathedral Trio for evangelist Rex Humbard at the Cathedral of Tomorrow in Akron, Ohio. With the addition of bass singer George Younce a year later, the Cathedral Trio became the Cathedral Quartet. The Cathedrals immediately became a sensation with their smooth quartet sound. He spent over 20 years with the Rex Humbard Worldwide TV Ministries with whom he performed all over the world.
