George Burdi
Настоящее имя: George Burdi
Об исполнителе:
Founder of white supremacist hard rock band RAHOWA and original owner of Resistance Records from Canada. In 1993, RAHOWA held a concert protested by Anti-Racist Action that led to a violent clash between the activists and concert goers. George Burdi was convicted of vicarious liability in assault causing bodily harm where Anti-Racist Action activist Alicia Reczkin was injured. Although prosecution could not prove George personally injured the activist, the court upheld the conviction for leading the charge and he was sentenced to one year in prison. After release from imprisonment, George Burdi's role in the white nationalist movement came to an end as conditions of his parole dictated that he could not speak to anyone involved in the movement. After Resistance Records was sold by an associate to Willis Carto who in turn sold it to William Pierce, Burdi formed a band called Novacosm whose line-up featured members of different racial and ethnic backgrounds. After a decade long hiatus, Burdi formally returned to make music in a new project called Überfolk. He now identifies as a Traditionalist inspired by Julius Evola and René Guénon.
