Joseph Uhl

German painter and etcher (1877-1945). He was born in New York, but emigrated to Germany at a young age. Initially a painter, Joseph Uhl took up etching at the end of WWI, concentrating on "Jugendstil"-influenced figure studies of children and nudes.
