The LA Times

The LA Times were a punk rock band from Los Angeles, Ca. active from the years 1996 – 1999. The band feature Janet Housden (Redd Kross, Love Dolls), Sharif Dumani, Troy Taroy, Tommy Tymes, Jesse Benson, and Lon Berger. In 1998 the band recorded at The Distillery in Costa Mesa, engineered by Mike McHugh (Hunger Farm, The Paper Tulips), for Scooch Pooch Records. The band dissolved before those recordings could be released. In 2011, the recordings of the 1998 session at the Distillery were released on Smash It Up! Records.
