Italian audio engineer from Rome. Antonio Pulli has lived in Berlin, Germany, since 2014, working as a studio manager and in-house engineer at Nils Frahm's Leiter Studio, Vox-Ton, and, starting in 2021, his private mixing studio in Berlin Tempelhof. He won two Grammy Awards in the "Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media" category for collaborations with Icelandic composer Hildur Guðnadóttir: first, with music from HBO's mini-series Chernobyl at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony in January 2020, followed by Joker (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) in March 2021. Antonio Pulli began his career in Rome, initially recording local bands. Between 2003 and 2008, he worked in film post-production, employed by Massimo and Luciano Anzellotti at Anzellotti Sound Effects Company. Pulli also traveled extensively across Italy, recording symphonic, chamber, and contemporary music at various theaters, live venues, and on commissions from Rai-Radio 3 national broadcaster. Besides film and classical music work, he engineered, mixed and recorded albums for numerous international artists, such as Nils Frahm, Erlend Øye and his band Kings Of Convenience, Feist, Ólafur Arnalds, Efterklang, Balmorhea, Diane Birch and many others. Antonio Pulli collaborated with Angelo Olivieri (2) in the Caos quartet (joined by Marco Ariano and Vincent Courtois), playing live interactive electronics; they recorded two albums for the Terre Sommerse label.
