Venezuelan Singer. Víctor Jiménez was born in Los Teques, Miranda state, Venezuela in July 4th, 1950. Jiménez started his musical career in 1960 with The Pets (5), a Pop rock band along side his brother Trino Jiménez also musician, their first success came with a cover of "Hello, I Love You", titled "Hola, Te Quiero", originally recorded by "The Doors". In 1972 Jiménez started his carrer as soloist vocalist and in 1975 got a success with a single, "Shikin' Down". In 1976 Jiménez took a new path dedicating his job in exclusive to the studios. In 1978 came back as singer for a short time recording "Fue Solo un Sueño" and "Y Mañana". The master Alberto Naranjo extended an invitation to Jiménez to record with the reverenced orchestra El Trabuco Venezolano on the LP [r5756942], Jimenéz recorded "A Pesar de Usted", a song composed by Chico Buarque.
