Erik Telford

Trumpeter and composer based in Austin, Texas. Telford grew up in Pacific Cove, California, moved to Boston to attend Berklee then to Rochester, New York. He then moved to Austin, where he plays trumpet and keyboards with jazz improv group Erik Telford Collective, horn section Hellfire Horns, soul band Felan, cover band The Argyles and jazz group Nori. Other artists Telford has performed with include The Walkmen, The Scabs, Bob Schneider, Alice Russell, Paolo Negri, Kalu James, Akina Adderley & the Vintage Playboys, Deadman, Fulton Read and Chris Pierce.
