Argentinian pop duo active in the 1970s/1980s with the sisters Analía García Escariz and Inés García Escariz (daughters of Inés Escariz Fernández, "Victrolita") were the members of the remembered duo "Candela" formed at the end of the 70's and beginning of the 80's, who began to sing in the company Disc Jockey hand in hand with Charlie Leroy. The duo recorded their first LP Candela 1 in 1977, produced by Alberto Posse (ex-first husband of singer Mónica Posse). This LP is made up of songs like "Amigo del Buen Vino", "Tan fugaz", "Ilusiones del más tú" and the song "Serenata del 900" whose choirs were performed by Mónica Posse herself, among other songs. In 1979, they recorded their second LP Candela 2, also released by RCA, which included songs like "Who will extend your bed", "Protect the butterflies", "You are my place", etc. In 1981, they released their third LP Candela 3, produced by Grinbank, and edited by the INTERDISC label, in which top quality artists participated, such as the cellist José Bragato, with songs like "We have grown", "Paseo de sol ", "I'm fine here", and also the theme "A thousand times I cry" by Alejandro Lerner (who performed the choirs in this theme), among others. In the year 1981 - 1982 they recorded the song "I want to be with you", a song that was the curtain for "Radio Del Plata". They also record another unpublished song called "Caprichos".
