Galija Semenova (1943-2003) Soviet and Russian pop singer. Was born in Kazakhstan. In 1963 married Vladimir Semenov, in that time musician and singer of Astrakhan philharmonic society. In 1966 Vladimir got invitation in Saratov philharmonic society, in the theatre of miniatures of Leo Gorelic. Galija was hired there as an actress. In 1968 Galija and Vladimir got invitation to work in the Moscow music-hall. From 1977 to 1979 she was a soloist in the professional show "Sorcerers in Snow-storm" in composition of a group "Suzdal Sorcerers". In 1978 of Galija with this group presented the show in Algeria with the artists of the Big theatre and Leningrad music-hall. When in a music-hall "Коробейники" Group was set up, Galija joined it. In 70th she worked as the soloist of "ВИО-66" under the Yuriy Saulaskiy. In 1970 a record company "Melody" released Galija Semenva's first record.
