Josh Newburger

American violist and violinist from Austin, Texas, where he played jazz and world music and was a member of orchestral indie pop group Mother Falcon. He completed his bachelors degree in violin at the New England Conservatory in Boston and went on to the Yale School of Music. Newburger has played with Ivan Fischer’s Budapest Festival Orchestra, the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra, Pacific Symphony, the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, the New York String Orchestra and the Belá Quartet.
