Derek McCormick

Derek McCormack (died 29 January 2004, aged 51) was an Irish singer and musician. He was front man for Barleycorn from 1970 to 1995. With his next band, Nickelodeon, McCormack toured Australia with The Fureys and Daniel O'Donnell. He toured extensively in the US featuring regularly at major Irish festivals such as Milwaukee and Cleveland. During the late 1990s, McCormack performed as a member of The Fureys . In June 2000 McCormack realised a solo album entitled 'Never Too Far From My Mind'
