Sam Kittner

Sam Kittner is a portrait and communications photographer whose clients include advertising, corporate, and editorial media worldwide. Over the course of his 20-plus-year career, Kittner has been published in Forbes, National Geographic, Newsweek, People, Time, and U.S. News and World Report. His photography is regularly commissioned by such companies as Fannie Mae, Warner Books, and Zurich Financial. In 2008 Photo District News (PDN) recognized Kittner's photograph for a Sprint billboard advertisement as an "advertising campaign from around the world that caught our eye." PDN also recognized one of his Washington, D.C., panoramas for digital excellence that year. Kittner's panoramic work led to a feature article in the April 2008 Washingtonian magazine. Kittner also produces documentary and fine arts prints, which have been displayed widely at venues including Brooklyn University Law School, Corcoran Gallery of Art, the Environmental Protection Agency, and Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Kittner studied economics at the University of North Carolina. He lives in Takoma Park, Maryland, with his family.
