Swedish composer, conductor, music organizer and music educator, born 11 September 1914 in Ytterlännäs parish, died 18 November 1966. Lundén, who was the son of civil engineer Sune Lundén and music teacher Kerstin Afzelius, graduated in Gothenburg in 1933 and graduated as a music teacher in 1938. He became a municipal music director in Katrineholm in 1944, in Östersund in 1950 and in Lidingö in 1954. He appeared as a conductor in Gothenburg, Norrköping and on the radio. He was awarded the state composer's scholarship in 1939, the Tage Books scholarship in 1940 and the scholarship from the Royal Foundation in 1957. He was an expert in the 1947 music inquiry and a member of the Swedish Composers' Association. He composed, among other things, three symphonies, the chamber opera The Models, two overtures, three orchestral suites, cantatas, chamber music and songs. He was awarded the Royal Academy of Music's token.
