Fowler is a personable voice on tenor and clarinet, and a busy presence on the mainstream scene. He specializes in the styles of Lester Young and Coleman Hawkins, and has also been a regular member of the 'Pasadena Roof Orchestra'. He has recorded and performed with Keith Nichols and the Pasadena Roof Orchestra on many occasions. Also he collaborated with Bryan Ferry. His CD "Tightlines" was released in 2004 on Diving Duck Records.
