Robbie Collins (3)

Musician and sound engineer from Georgia, born 1951 and died 2018. Collins grew up in Savannah and Thunderbolt, Georgia. He earned a BA and MA in Philosophy from the University of Georgia and was a musician in several Athens bands as well as gaining certification as a sound engineer and recording a number of bands. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia in the 1990s. He earned an MS in Economics from Georgia State and taught Economics at the college level for several years before training and working as a luthier. Collins died on June 27, 2018 at age 66 In Decatur from Interstitial Lung Disease.
