Howard Beyer

American pianist, songwriter and arranger. He received his M.A. in composition, then B.A. in piano; after that he spent two years with the U.S. Army Band in Berlin, and later as arranger-pianist with German orchestras. After returning to the U.S. in 1954, he devoted his time to songwriting and arranging. He was staff musician in radio in Chicago.
