Об исполнителе:
As a well-noted composer, arranger, and producer, he was most active in the late 1960s, composing music for Hanna-Barbera's fairly short-lived live action series The Banana Splits, a fictional rock band of life-size puppets. Mook and co-writer Ben Raleigh were also hired to work on the theme song of a new Hanna-Barbera cartoon about a group of kid detectives and their dog, resulting in the classic theme song for Scooby Doo, Where Are You?. His ability to develop well-written hooks placed him at the forefront of television composers and producers in California in the late 1960s, and among his most notable work is the theme song to The Dating Game and also collaborations with Burt Bacharach and Hal David. Sadly he passed away of a long battle with cancer in 1996.
