Australian record label/record store owner and businessman. Born in Takaka, New Zealand, on 10 February 1954. Moved to Australia in December 1971. Co-owner of the label Phantom Records (3) with Dare Jennings. Also owned Messiah Complex, Freakzone, and started the label Laughing Outlaw Records. He managed the independent record store Ripple (later Revolver) Records in Sydney from 1974-78, and owned the record store Phantom Records (with Dare Jennings and later Sebastian Chase) from 1978-98. He was the first manager of Radio Birdman 1975-early '76, after being their roadie and sometime sound-guy from the beginning, prior to that. As early as 1974 he was involved in selling rare and collectable vinyl records, initially via a mutually beneficial connection with Greg Shaw (2) of BOMP! and throughout the 1980's and 90's published many auction lists packed with a plethora of well-sourced rarities across the broad spectrum of youth-culture genres from all eras - the majority of those lists published as newsprint booklets under the name "Plunder The Vaults".
